QuickBooks multi-user mode allows multiple users to collaborate on the same company file at the same time. With that, there should only be one computer acting as a server host. You can check the details of each file path to see if it shows a different ServerIP and server Engine Name. If so, the hosting feature may have been turned on or enabled by another computer or user.
